Per-donation fee = donation × platform% + donation × card% + fixed. The monthly plan is spread across the donations you expect that month, so the more you raise, the smaller its per-gift impact. Nothing is saved or sent — it runs in the visitor's browser.
How to use
- Choose your currency (£ or $).
- Enter the donation amount you want to test (e.g. £100).
- Enter the platform fee % — set it to 0 if the provider doesn’t charge one.
- Enter the card fee % and the fixed fee (in pence/cents) — e.g. 1.9% + 20p.
- Read off the Total fee per donation and Charity keeps in the green panel.
Optional: if the provider has a monthly plan, enter its cost and roughly how many donations per month you receive. The calculator spreads the plan across those donations and shows the true per-gift cost and a monthly summary.
